SCHOLARSHIP SUBCOMMITTEE

Mary Jean Millikan

I’m a Ridgeview Alumni with 28 years of sobriety. I am actively involved in a 12-step program, and I am employed as an RN and the Director of Nursing at Ascensa Health at St. Jude’s Recovery Center. I am also a Certified Addictions Nurse (CARN). Prior to this, I was employed at RVI for 14 years. I am very familiar with the disease of addiction and witness first-hand the miracles of recovery that come with quality treatment.

Cam Still

Recovery for me is an action word. As a long-time active member of the Ridgeview Alumni Association, I do volunteer work by chairing the Ridgeview Family Workshop committee. I support people in treatment and I have a village of recovery friends supporting me. It is important to give back what has so freely been given to me. I am a wife and mother of four. My recovery from anxiety and depression has made my life manageable and fulfilling.

Debbie Wright

Healthcare professional and patient advocate for 25 plus years. “I advocate for patient-centric care and am a passionate supporter and promoter of equity and parity in the provision of mental health services. I enjoy dogs, music and I am an ardent pursuer of serenity.”

Meagan Westmoreland

I first came to Ridgeview in summer of 2018 for substance abuse disorder and found a whole new life in recovery. As a pediatric nurse, I spend much of my working time helping parents and children. When not working or focusing on recovery, I have the good fortune to spend time with my twin toddlers. They are just one of the many gifts my recovery has granted me. I’m a dedicated member of the Ridgeview Alumni Association and the Ridgeview community has become a large part of my life.

Steve Shepperd

I have been in recovery 17 years. I grew up in South Florida and my hobbies are woodworking, water activities, golf, and gardening. I’ve been married for 40 years with two adult children.

Dr. Victor Ezquerra

I am in recovery from substance abuse disorder and major depressive disorder. Professionally, I have been an educator for over 15 years, primarily in higher education. I thrive on engaging people educationally and socially. My interdisciplinary background inspires me to create connections amongst different fields, particularly the arts.
