RACC RECOVERY WALK

The RACC Recovery Walk on March 16th, 2024 brought out an enthusiastic gathering of motivated walkers. Recovery from mental illness and/or addiction is about action. We can often make decisions about what we are going to do, but we are not always willing to follow through with the “plan.” The 4th annual RACC Recovery Walk was an opportunity to express gratitude for the gift of a new life and compassion for those still suffering who need assistance. This annual fun outing raised $3870 and demonstrated that “We Walk the Walk,” not just talk the talk.

Spring Fling

The Ridgeview Alumni Association held its 32nd annual Spring Fling Picnic on Sunday May 5th 2024 and a good time was had by all! The weather forecast for Sunday was “iffy” all week but Mother Nature cooperated by providing a gorgeous day of blue skies and a slight breeze.

The highlight of the day came at 3:00pm when the annual raffle was held. As usual, it’s a true highlight of this day to see the smiles on the faces of those holding the winning tickets as the numbers were announced. Truthfully, all those who attended this fun event were the winners. And all the money raised ($2249.00) went to the Ridgeview Alumni Charitable Corporation.
